Your eBay business, like so many things-will not become hugely successful overnight. Success on eBay, and in most areas of life, comes in small increments.

I have been on eBay for over a decade. For those of us who started waaaaaay back in the 1900s (giggle)-we have earned each feedback number, pleased each customer, covered the globe in shipments-all one small sale at a time. There are plenty of websites out there that will promise you that you can become a “powerseller in 30 days” or “make over 50k your first year on eBay”. Yes, I could tell you that, too. And yes, I can help you do that-and there are countless HCTS members who HAVE done that and continue to do it. But the truth is, you have to be an extremely motivated person who is willing to work tirelessly to do those things-and 99.99% of people are not going to want to do that long-term.
What I am willing to do is help you achieve lasting, sustainable eBay success. Like this month, we are going to help you list nearly 300 items on eBay. In one month. Yup. And you can do it-I promise!!! Like any good plan, we are going to tackle the challenge in small increments. 10 items the 1st, 10 items the 2nd, and next thing you know it’s February 28th and YOU have 280 new items listed!! Little by little, we’ll work on the goal together, and it won’t hurt a bit. Want to get a head start to make things more painless? Go on an in-home inventory shopping spree! Gather all that stuff you are no longer using, have outgrown, or simply never liked in the first place. Take and edit your pictures. If you can find 25 items, you’ll have a nice head start. 50, and you’ll be an over-achiever. 100 items-and you will be on your way to ROCK STAR status!! We will get to 280, and I promise that our experts-Heather, Jaci, Jen, Peppi, Xochilt, and Melisha and I will help, motivate and encourage you every step of the way! Baby steps to 280, starting now…and get ready for a fabulous February!
Today’s special challenge: List something for charity. Using ebay’s giving works-list one item with at least 10% of the profit going to an organization that needs your help.
When you get your items listed today, please start a thread with your item numbers for verification in the 10-a-day forum or 70-per-week forum. You must have a HCTS membership to post there and participate in this challenge
I will not be posting the challenges to the blog every day, so if you are not a member yet, why not join our forums and The 280 Challenge?
much love,
