Hi everyone! We are looking for some fun gals to join the mod team here at HCTS. To become a mod here, you must meet the following requirements:

• HCTS member for 6+ months
• Currently selling on Ebay, Amazon, or your own website (alternatively, an expert in a related field ie, product photography, direct selling, blogging for example)
• Helpful to all members and no recent infractions
• Ability to commit to a posting volume of approx. 300-400 posts per month

If you are interested in applying, please copy/paste the application below and email it to me at Rebecca@herecomesthestork.com. I’m sure I will have MANY more qualified applicants than I will have spots open, but I will try my best to pick the best qualified, most friendly storks!

1. Please give me a brief history of your experience/qualifications and your HCTS id.
2. Why do you want to be come a moderator at Here Comes the Stork?
3. If you were to become a mod, what unique qualities will you bring to the team?
4. Let’s say two members are having a heated discussion. How would you handle the situation to allow the thread to stay open? What if the members continued, and progressed to insulting dialogue. What would you do then?
5. How would you start new conversations on HCTS?
6. How do you see HCTS evolving as online selling evolves?

The pay is not much, but you’ll be be paid highly in adoration and praise from the members you are helping!! You also receive a free membership to HCTS.

Big Announcement!!

We :heart: SSB here. I know there are other options, and I respect you all who use them…but my experience over the last 6 years with SSB has been wonderful, every second. I’m now blessed to have recently become an acquaintance of the owner, Kristen. She is a work at home mom, just like us, and super nice. When you support SSB, you are not helping some huge mega corp, but a real person.

I got started on the new HTML for the main site, and neglected to do a listing of the week. I’ll resume the listing of the day Tuesday, and we’ll do a combined vote for the two weeks next weekend.

 The site is turning out AWESOME, by the way…if I do say so myself. I think the relaunch date will be June 1.

Here it is! The much-anticipated HCTS affiliate contest. This contest starts today, May 18, and runs though midnight on May 31st, so don’t dilly dally!

Add banners and links to your Ebay “About Me” page, your website, forum signatures, blogs, Twitter, Facebook, or even buy small ads in places that you frequent. Be creative!
