I like so much about this listing. What struck me initially is that the gallery photo was so well done that it looked like a stock photo! Her title is very good, I like the Forth of July keyword…but I might have switched “patriotic” with “American”. Both words are good choices, I’d have to research which one is actually more searched. The description is EXCELLENT. I love how she gave so much information about the design of the dress, and I am thrilled to see measurements in the listing!! That is time consuming when preparing the listing, but such a time saver in ASQ and returns!! The quantity of pictures is wonderful. I’d love to see the pictures a tad darker, but otherwise they are very well taken, cropped, and show all the important details. The shipping and payment terms are very easy to understand-and you made the fact that you have a smoke free home very prominent! Lastly, I love that you mention that you are a stork, but I’d love to see a clickable link to your me page with information on how to join HCTS! You are missing affiliate $$ with no link on your me page!!

Yay! I agree about the pics. i needed to darken them some. I had a hard time getting these pictures but didn’t even think about editing them to darken them. Thanks for the feedback! I’m anxiously awaiting tomorrows listing of the day too!
I think it is a great “first” Listing of the Day. It is a nice example of everything a listing should have included. The pictures do seem “light” but sometimes that is just hard to get right. Much better than too dark as you can see the details–
That item should sell well.
I am curious – how did you come up with the words for the title? I wonder about leaving out the word “of”. But, like Rebecca, I did not do any research to look at which words work best.
BTW- the pictures do not seem light to me – unless its that the red and blue are actually darker than Im seeing them…. but Id have no way to know that. (or, perhaps they have been changed
)
Yikes. I assumed “of” was not a searchable word which is why I left it out. But, I just went and tested my theory and i was wrong. Looks like I should go back and add “of” to all of my 4th of July listings!!

I think this listing is very well done!
The only thing I might change is the hanger in the photo. When I need to take a photo of a hanging garment I either edit it out or use a very nice hanger…you know, a wooden one (think Janie and Jack) or a satin padded one.
I love the idea of a “listing of the day”! What a wonderful tool to improve all of our listings. I will be staying tuned for more tips.
